pulleys
2006 c280 4matic... I took the two puleys off (idler and accessory; one smooth and one ribbed). I don't know what size the washers are now... I lost them dang it...and I tried different sizes and now the front edge of the belt wears out a little on the front edge and starts fraying. Do they both take washers or just one pulley? Thanks for hearing and helping me out.

If you have a straight edge you can probably see where the misalignment is and shim accordingly.
Best to check with the dealer and pick up the correct washer, even if it's a few bucks more. There might be something special about the dealer washer that a layman won't know about.
