Coolant visit workshop, but this one is differnet
Hi. So for over 2 months I’m struggling with “coolant visit workshop”. So the problem is that the fan doesn’t spin at all, doesn’t matter if engine is hot or cold or if AC is on. It just doesn’t move. So I started to look for the reason, first thing was Fuse and Relay. None of the fuses were blown, relay - just bought new one, there was no reaction. Main fuse (the big one close to Battert) is also fine. Thermostate - works, water pump - works, electric water pump - works, cables (main fuse to fan) also fine (checked visually and using multimeter), temperature sensor - new, level sensor - new, washer fluid level sensor - new, fan (checked and working). I have no idea what is couses the problem

So actually it’s different kind of fan. Mine has control unit on the frame of fan. Although, when I plugged my fan to my brothers MB it was working just fine. That’s why I know that fan is working.

Note the discussion beginning at about the 8-minute point. I'm not an expert on this, but I would see whether you are getting a signal on the blue/green wire. He suggests using a battery as a signal source.
