i'm looking to buy an audio 10 CD unit for my coupe and really want to avoid the ebay.de thing. i don't like blind purchases to begin with, especially if the person selling it isn't speaking a language i understand.

i've one of the MB dealers in stuttgart sells them through their parts dept. and they speak english... but which dealer? what's their contact info / phone number?

I've replied with specifics before so you'll have to research it. Start with www.MercedesBenz.com and select Germany and the use a transalation website to figure it all out. If that's too much work check the UK, most of them speak English.

I think the Audio 10 is stock in 2003s, maybe you want to wait a few months.

 

yeah... murphy's law once again. i was going to wait to buy a 2003 but decided i wanted to drive this car sooner... figures, eh?

 

Try autoclass.net based in Florida. They can special order one for you.

 

ouch.. autoclass.net wants $600+ for one. ebay.de is starting to look better and better...

 

$600 isn't too bad. I found a discount MB parts place in the UK that wanted about $450. Don't remember the contact but if you search this forum or beckerautosound.com forum you may find it. Of course add shipping and you are closer to $500.

 

Then be prepared to pay 550 Euros for the same part that will cost about 200 Euros on Ebay.de. The M-B price is rather steep I'd say.
