W203 c200 cdi abnormsly high fuel consumption
Hello! I have a W203 c200 cdi that i took ownership of in november 2022. When i got it the diesel consumption on it seemed to be very high. I last drove a totalt of 87km from refilling with the digital display saying my fuel consumption is 7l/100km and that`s not too bad, but when i look at my fuel gauge i have used aprox. A quarter tank (15L). But in reality it should have been more around an eight of a tank (6-7L). If i do a refil i also fill up the 15L so it`s not my fuel gauge that is bad.
Any advice what could be wrong. I dont even smell any type of diesel leak (or see any)

someone is stealing your fuel or go get a compression test
