How do you remove the (power) headrest?

How do you remove the (power) headrest?
I have a 2001 C320 SS with a passenger front head rest that occasionally rattles. I've done searches and found that others have had similar problems, one said that the posts could be bent apart to fix the problem. I could not find a reference on how to remove the headrest, and I cannot figure out how to do it... I have power seats with power headrests.

I have a 2002 c320. From page 55 of the owners manual:
To remove:
Press head restraint power switch upwards and hold until the head restraint is fully extended. Pull the head restraint out.
To install:
Press head restraint power switch upwards and hold for about 5 seconds. Press the head restraint down until it engages. Adjust to desired position.

I keep forgetting that I ordered my car before it was released in the US. When they finally released the new body style, they came out with a few different versions. I was introduced to the coupe and AMG styles in 02 and then in 03, I learned they had a "sport sedan". It must not have been real popular back in 2001 or I was just paying more attention to other things like my friends. Since I have no life now (lol), I get into the stupidest things.
