C180 Kompressor W203
First car - C180K - advice wanted
Hey guys, my dad recently got me and him a 2005 C180 Kompressor to share, which will then be passed along to me after I pass my test and will actually need to drive it places. It's a pretty old car but it is so cool to drive, since it is my first car I obviously have quite a few questions about it.
Number one is a clunking noise in the front suspension which also feels really stiff when going over speed bumps, I've checked the sticky thread which provided some things which ill get checked out.
Furthermore there is almost a banging sound coming somewhere from the back end, nothing with the suspension as far as my mechanic has seen, so I have no idea what it is.
Once I get these issues fixed i'd obviously like to make some small modifications, such as coilovers, wheels, roof spoiler and front lip. But Im on a budget since im young and cant afford to spend all my money on the car. If anyone has any pointers towards some budget parts (without comprimising quality a whole lot) that would be greatly appreciated!
