Expression Rear Trunk Spoiler?

Does anybody have the Expression spoiler installed in their vehicle? It looks kinda nice in the performance products catalogue. If so, how is the quality/fit? Any idea what it would cost to have it painted and mounted?

Any other recomendations for rear spoilers? Pics would help.

Thanks.

There have been quite a few threads on rear spoilers for the W203 Sedan.
From Mercedes-Benz accessory spoilers 2004 and 2005 versions, to the C32 AMG and C55 AMG spoilers.
Plus there are aftermarket spoilers, like the ones in the Performance Products catalog.

Prices vary across dealerships, and online vendors. Best bet is do a search for what you really like first, and then shop around for best price.

Pics below show the SCHATZ spoiler, and then the EXPRESSION spoiler.

Exclamation post pictures of spoilers here...

here's a pic of the ForMyMercedes spoiler, (which I think is identical to the MB OEM 2005 accessory spoiler shown in their Accessories Catalog & MBUSA website).

Anyone have pics of the AMG C55 spoiler, that they can post here ?

Here's the C32 AMG spoiler (on Mr. Wiedermann's car):

Carlos, the formymercedes spoiler is not the same as the 05 sport spoiler. The formymercedes one is the Lorinser style replica while the 05 sport spoiler is that one that's on jwc230k's car next to your at the Rosebowl meet.

I second that. The Formymercedes spoiler is definitely NOT the same as the '05 accessory spoiler.

I'd like to see a side by side comparison. I went down to my local dealer hoping to see an OEM one installed, but no luck.

I stand corrected.
I didn't know for sure, and was judging the comparison based on the pictures from both sites. They do look pretty much the same, but granted they probably look much different in "real life".

Like we did for the CL-style Grill, let's post plenty of different pictures of each SPOILER with a detailed description, so we can have the comparison here all in one place.

Thanks !

Have you seen the C55 spoiler though?

According to my dealer the '05 accessory spoiler is tape attached, no trunk holes.

There are currently two spoilers I would recommend for the COUPE:

1) AMG spoiler
2) RENNtech spoiler (single piece or 3 piece)

Do a search for Renntech spoilers, plenty of online shops and MB tuner shops carry them. Do a search online.

The AMG Coupé spoiler came up at my dealership's EPC, so I'm assuming it is available from the dealer. I got mine from AUTOCLASS over a year ago, when the price was still low at around $149. There's a couple of shops up in Canada (Harton Motorwerks & Engisoft) that also have the AMG Coupé spoiler in their inventory.

Check for Part # at the dealership.
It's an accessory part, so it will start with: BQ

you will also need your car's paint color code so it matches.

Is this the 05 C55 spoiler? If not, anybody have a close picture to compare the two? I'm trying to decide on a spoiler and I like the C55 spoiler. This one looks the same to me.

What is the difference between the C55 spoiler and this one?

Is this one the one that you were trying to get from TOM?

Oh man, how many times are we going to have this *******g discussion.

There are 2 OEM spoilers available, the one that comes standard on the C55 AMG, and the spoiler available for all C-class cars from the MB accessory catalog.

The image posted by Tariq is NOT the AMG spoiler, it is the one from the accessory catalog.

If you want to see a pic of the AMG spoiler, just look at any rear shot of the C55.

It would be retarded to buy one spoiler over the other if you've never seen them in person. Go to your dealer and have a look.

I understand that the spoilers are different. This is the reason why I was asking what the difference was. I've seen the C55 spoiler in person but have only seen this spoiler in this picture. They appear very similar and thus the reason why I assumed it was the C55 spoiler. I was simply trying to find out the difference between the two and no I have not gone to the dealership to look at the sport spoiler in the accessory catalog.

I use the forums as my main source of information. I'm sorry if I frustrated you, but I was simply looking for an answer. Someone may or may not want to reply. It might not hurt for me to just ask.

C55 spoiler

Sorry MBenzNL for using this image, but it was a nice clear closeup that I was able to find.
