Refrigerant Pressure/Temperature sensor reading 0 degree Temp. but correct Pressure
Hi guys, I've been dealing with a/c problems on and off for the past 2 months where it used to send cold air some times, but others not, and it finally became permanent.
My B12/2 sensor reads appropriate pressure BUT always reads 0 degree (zero) celsius.
I tried plugging backup sensors that I had and it still gave me no reading on the temperature side (still 0 degree) (although pressure read fine, aka no pressure naturally since the backup sensor wasn't plugged in the system and was at room pressure)
I know the sensor is fed by 4 wires, this 'might' indicate that 2 are in charge of temperature and 2 in charge of pressure?
I'm looking for a way to test continuity from my sensor wires to the SAM or ECU wherever these pressure/temp sensor feeds into.
I have no schematics for this and any help would be appreciated. I heard/read that zero degree 'might' indicate a possible short to ground !?
Thanks for any input!!
