Unknown wire between battery terminals, any idea what this is for?

It's got a plug covering the connections for + and - and a fuse inline, just curious if it's a stock part and what it's function is.

Nevermind, I figured it out, it's for a battery tender.
Previous owner was having issues with battery drain so no surprise.
Leaving thread up to help the next guy!
