Command vs Aftermarket Navigation Systems.

Command vs Aftermarket Navigation Systems.
Well...I am now regreting not getting the command system in my 05 230K SS. 
I guess my options at this point are an aftermarket system or to install command after the fact.
I have several questions as I am not too familiar with navigaton systems and what would work best at this point.
1) Where can I purchase a command system at this point and how much will this set me back?
2) My car has the HK system so are there any issues associated with switching between the command and the HK?
3) If I go the aftermarket route, where would the system fit/install on the dash?
4) What are the Pros and Cons of each alternative?
Any help would be appreciated.

i would say retrofit COMAND in your car. Steve can do it, though for the 2005's it is kinda expensive from what i understand. i wouldnt put an aftermarket navi in my car, just me. the new DVD COMAND is really nice!
