The weird thing is sometimes the car will work for 1 week and be fine, then suddenly the problem starts.

Battery perhaps?

Here's how to check your battery voltage
. It should be around 14.0V while the engine is running.

I don't want to keep spitballing and offering suggestions, but I'm leaning towards something electrical, a faulty relay, etc. Intermittent gremlins always suck to diagnose. Hopefully someone with more intimate knowledge of this chassis will chime in.
