It's amazing what you can find on the internet. Anyhow I was searching last night for Citorn coupes, and stummbled upon these pics. The first looks like a Euro coupe with an AMG package. Has the AMG bumpers, spoiler and wheels. Also I didn't know Citron was called Heliodor Green in other countries.

did they make Citron in designo trim or did someone do this interior custom. I really don't care for it personally.

wow! It's amazing what you can find on the internet. You should Google yourself and/or a few friends - you might get a good laugh at what you find. Seriously though, I love the color of your car. It's quite rare - (I've never seen a coupe that color on the roads here in Minnesota) - and classy. How's the parktronic working out?

 

thanks! i forgot i posted those pics of my car when it was delivered. the PTS is working out great! i love it. though rarely required, its still a cool little gadget. it makes parking fun!

btw, I think the green on the SLK is called the Electro Green. It was a designo color.

 

I usually can't stand that color on the MB's but on the pic's with the one that has the body kit, it seems to fit..

 

ive seen the electro green SLK designo color once and to me it looks nothing like citron. that one particular SLK looks similar to citron, could be the pic though. citron and electro green change shades in lighting and can be deceptive..
yeah the AMG kit looks good on that coupe. i dont really care for the rims though.
i personally dont like that body kit on that citron coupe, nor do i care for the designo looking coupe interior. im not sure if thats custom or if that was an option.

 

That looks a lot like the Sienna Beige/Charcoal interior I've seen on the R170 model SLK. With digital cameras, color rendition and the ambient light affect what colors look like vs. seeing it in person.

In the various markets, different names are used to describe the colors - plus there's many Designo variations offered, where here in North America we get maybe two or three Designo package options.

Such as Desert Silver = Travertine Beige, and so forth...

 

yeah i wish in NA we would get more choices as faras interior colors, engine choices, etc.

I know citron was an available designo color for the W202...saw a C43 wagon in citron once...
