w203 (cl203) swap option om648 vs om642 vs m113 or other
Hi,
I currently own a 2004 c320 sport coupe v6. I have seen the m113 being used in it so it is a good option to replace my engine. I saw team black smoke with the om648 but they also used the e55 auto transmissions and replace with a t101 that is out of the question price wise. It got me thinking about the om642 that was used in the c320 cdi, ml320 and a few other but I did not find as much information on tuning compared the the om648.
Would the transmission from my car bolt to the om648 or 642 ? or is the m113 my best option?
I am looking into option since my engine is getting old, is losing oil and I would like to reach around 300 to 350 whp and the torque from the diesel engine looks like a lot of fun.
