AMG Body Partd
Our C-coupe was in for service and the dealerhad anaccident 9rear bumper). My son would liketo replace the stock bumper with an AMG, but dealer dos not know where to get one. Can anyone let me know a good source for AMG body parts.
PS The dealer did not tell us about the accident - if I had not noticed when I picked it up I am sure they would have just denied it.

Did they admit fault in the accident? Is the damage significant enough to justify replacing and repainting the bumper hood and fenders??
As far as the replacement, all the dealer has to do is look up the AMG part numbers from the parts source catalog provided to all MB dealerships. However, he's only liable to replace if the damage presents a safety hazzard. If it's cosmetic, expect a repair.

AMG parts
AMG bumpers for the Coupé are NOT regularly available from MB dealers in the US. AMG Coupés were never sold or shipped to the US. Citron is correct, in that the only way to get these is via Canada or straight from Germany (AMG) itself. There are a few Canadian vendors who sell these, however, be aware that you will also need to have them prepped, primered and painted; and then also order the interior padding, all new clips and bolts, and AMG foglights.
Most AMG part numbers for the Coupé, will NOT show up at the Dealer's EPC, as they were never included in US version of their parts source catalog.
