iCarsoft MBII won't clear SRS after steering wheel swap.

iCarsoft MBII won't clear SRS after steering wheel swap.
So, I pulled a spare steering wheel from picknpull years back,
Nice because I have sport package and wheel is some off color sort of
greenish grey with the nubs, 3 spoke. It languished for years as I contemplated
refinishing it, never quite sure on what color dye to order. All the while the original one
has gotten so bad, yuck. Hated to even touch it. (I'll post photos later)
Finally I drove to the local shoe repair shop, yeah we actually have one here,
and they refinished it for me! Matched the color perfectly! Looks beautiful! And clean. Nice.
But when I reinstalled it, I f'd up and didn't mark the wheel position when I pulled it out.
So I had to reconnected the battery (disconnected before removing airbag) and used
iCarsoft to determine Zero steering wheel angle to get it installed straight, then disconnected battery until airbag
was in again. I knew this would throw an SRS code, but figured no sweat right? iCarsoft will clear it!! Uh no....it won't. Was fine before now it's SRS!!!! every time I start the car. When I tell it to clear the codes, it say SUCESSFUL! But in fact, no it is not!
ARRGH!!!! So what scanners aside from SDS will clear SDS? I see Youcanic offers their scanner on a daily rental for $85,
I'd pay if it I could be certain it would work. No one around here with SDS.
Or do I need to clear some other section before
