Hi,

my friend is looking at getting a W203, and he's searched on ebay for Mercedes coupons. Some new coupons popped up - called "Road Rally" coupons. ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW ).
Has anyone heard of those? Are they transferrable?

I've used a C-spot to purchase my C230, and I also attended the LMT and have an LMT coupon, which isn't transferrable.

I attended the Road Rally in the Ritz Carlton in Miami a couple of weeks ago. It was not nearly as good as the LMT because it was primarily focused just on the SLK 350. The coupon they handed out came with a hat, key chain, brochure, and a Benz designer bag. The coupon is identical to the LMT coupon, they sign your name on it and they told me that the dealer will verify the coupon # to the name. I am looking into getting my 2005 C230 SS soon and I was wondering if you order the car before 12/31/04 will the coupon still be applicable?? Or do I have to take physical delivery of the car before 12/31/04?? Does anyone know the answer to this??? the dealer tells me that I have to take physical delivery of it before 12/31/04 for it to apply....

So it looks like the RR coupons too aren't transferrable. Does the coupon have a coupon number at the back of it, like the LMT?

As with ordering the car, I recall people saying that you'll at least have to get to the stage of having the VIN of your car in order to Mercedes to apply the coupon against it. For sure you can't use it at the time of ordering, but you may not have to wait until final delivery.

:p Dam that sure woulda helped on my final purchase! Any chance we can still use it a week after I bought my car by presenting it to the MB finance department? Doesn't hurt to ask eh?
