Hmm I want to run a WRX now. I went looking yesterday night at the races and couldnt find one. Just raced a Camaro SS. He had 3 people in his car. Made him launch so good. LOL! I was so surprised at the great jump he got on me. Anyways, I had 1 passenger but I took him at the end. Beat him by over 3 cars and pulling. He asked me what I had and I told him stock. He didnt believe me. I told him its a AMG. AHahah. Another one bites the dust!

Good kill, brabus. Too bad I was already home when I checked your message last night. WRX's can launch(AWD) but they run out of pop at the high end. A couple of days ago, I raced a WRX
in the 210 freeway. At first he just slowly passed me because he probably thought my car was non turbo(I ripped out the Twinturbo sticker)LOL. So I downshifted into third and gave him a loud BOV sound right next to his car. He gave me a thumbs up and punched it. We went from 70-110mph and I took him by 2-3 car lengh. I would've pulled even more if we went past 110mph. Brabus, if I could beat a WRX, your C43 should have no problem beating one.

i never got any chances to get those fast cars to race with me. all i got was one mod camry Solara V6 and one blue IS300 with the caliper painted red. i wouldn't call those two races though. the one with the Solara happened around 12 am and i was in a hurry to get home so my parents can't yell at me for staying out late without telling them first. i lined up with the Solara at a red light i wasn't going to race but he floored it when the light hit green. he got a good one car jump on me before i floored it and before he could say "oh ****" i blew past him around 60 and left him in the dust with 6 car length before i make a necessary brake at the next light and turn towards my house. (all this happened within 15 seconds, i didn't go any faster than 70 since i figure he already lost)

the encounter with the IS300 was much pleasant and it wasn't really a race. i just got my dinner togo from a fast food place and as i was coming out of the parking lot the IS300 was behind me. he follow me to the light and get beside me. he wasn't pushing it at all and i just gave it a little gas and passed him. at the next light as he was waiting to make a left turn and i was waiting to keep going, the driver of the IS300 gave me a thumb up. i waved and nodded my head to achknowledge him. wish there are more driver that are like him.

BTW BrabusCClass what color is your C43? i saw a white one with the different grill (is it avantgarde grill or something) on 55 fwy last saturday.i was going south in my dad's ML430 and that C43 was going north.

Race some american muscle cars. Lots of Mustang owners love to run. I raced a Mustang GT with exhaust and intake. By second gear it was over. I killed it. I also ran a Mustang Cobra that night and barely won by 1 car. He was very fast but he cheated. In second gear he squeezed NOS and I heard his silinoids. He was 1 car behind, then pulled ahead of me but when he shifted I gained and pulled ahead of him. Hehe.

Yep, that C43 is pretty damm fast. From a deadstop I got a pretty good launch but he still had about 3 cars lengh infront of me(Damm V8 ) By end of my third gear, I pulled within a car lengh behind him(gotta love that twinturbos ) We shutdown at 100-105 me losing by a car lengh. Keep in mind though, that his C43 ran a 13.7 quarter mile. A stock turbo Z can run anywhere between 13.7-14.3 quarter mile which averages to flat 14's. I have a Blitz intake but my exausts aren't cat-back. So my guess is that I'm running 13.9-13.8. But it's a different story when you start adding some bolt-on's. Just add a full cat-back exaust, ECU, downpipes, testpipes, intercooler upgrade and a boost controller set at 17 psi on racing gas will net you mid to low 12's.
Brabus C43 still ownz me.(well, at least for now)LOL

i thought the Stock C43 runs mid 14s in 1/4 mile and 6 sec to 60mph...it is the C32 that can run a 13.7 or lower 1/4 mile and 5 seconds to 60 mph.

anyway...there is no loser in that race. i think you two both did great...and very cool to talk about it on the board

I also have had a "problem" with nobody tryig to run. I figure most people just see some sort of silver four-door.

I did get to run against a modded mustang the other day. I thin khe knew what I had. From a rolling start we both punched it. I kept up but did not gain or lose anything. At 60 or so I started gaining but I think he may have been backing off (we were on city streets - 45 mph) I didn't back off - I wanted to WIN!!!

From what I have read about mustangs (this was a late model with the angular look) he must have had a lot of good work done - most stock 'stangs run sixes in 0-60. (it was not labeled as a Roush or Cobra, etc.)

He was actually cooler than I was. I should have slowed back down, waved, given a thumbs up, whatever - he seemed OK. Don't wanna be one of those "snooty" MB drivers!! Oh well, next time!

it sound like its going fast but it really doesnt

i think they have some sound effects under the hood or something

hey guys...i just saw a Saleen S 281 mustang today...i didn't run with him but that car looks great. just wondering how much horses and torque are under the hood or that car? and Can my C32 take him if we run?

Hey Frank, You can take a S281. They are slow. Its just a saleen kit on a normal mustang. I raced a lot of Mustang GT's and blew them all away. Thats who I usually go against in the races. Also the 13.70 time is what I got when I timed it. I did around 8 runs and they were all 13.7's. Not a magazine time. ALso my 0-60 is around 5.2. Your car is suppose to do flat 13's. All the C32 owners that have timed it said they always get low to flat 13's so you should be able to take most mustangs. I raced a Mustang Cobra SVT that had NOS and I beat it my half a car and was still pulling. I got the launch on him and by second i was slowly pulling on him. When I got 1 car ahead I heard a loud sound of the NOS silinoids. He started to catch up and then he had to shift as he was 1/2 a car ahead of me. THen I passed him again and was creeping away. I won by a car or so and was pulling. Haha. ANyways, go race some mustangs or camaros. They are hella fun.

thanks BrabusCClass, now i for sure know how fast my car is. you have just made my day with those supportive words. starting from now on i will hunt for those pony cars and camaros. just wish me luck on not going againt the newest supercharged Cobra
