[HELP] W203 cylinder numbering (M271 engine) +PHOTO
Hello, I would like to ask you how I can know the numbering of each cylinder.
I have a misfire on cylinder 2 and I would like to know which one it is.
The engine is an M271
I think it is like that, no but I'm not sure:
A -> 1
B -> 2
C -> 3
D -> 4
am I right?

Correct. Cylinder #1 is towards the front of the car. Therefore your problem is at cylinder B in your diagram.
What is your mileage? The spark plugs have an official service life of 160k km, but they looked great when I swapped mine out. The more likely culprit would be the ignition coils, which aren't terribly expensive. Be sure to get a quality one (OEM and Beru are great choices).
