2005 C230k sedan and Sport Coupe reviews
Here are, gathered in a single post, links to reviews by British car mags of the 2005 C-Class. Though these reviews are freely available online from these magazines' websites, some of these links cannot easily be found.
4Car (detailed overview of the 2005 facelift; entire range reviewed but focus is on sedan):
http://www.channel4.com/4car/road-te...-class04-.html
AutoCar (C230k Sports Coupe):
http://www.autocar.co.uk/FirstDrive_....asp?RT=208855
Auto Express (brief review of the C230k manual sedan & general overview of the 2005 facelift):
http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/preview...y.php?id=44089
AutoExpress (C230k manual coupe):
http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/preview...y.php?id=44415
These articles are the same as appeared in the print editions (I bought those for my records as well). I found them quite useful when I bought my car this Summer.

2002 C230 Coupe(M111)
"This must be the wedgiest Mercedes ever, and one of the most daring-looking. A bulge just behind the very forward-set front wheel-arch flows into a steeply-rising waistline, and the impression of forward movement is signed off by tail-lights whose side view makes the rear wing terminate in a kind of fishtail. The sill curves out and down just ahead of the rear wheels, further emphasising the wedge shape. As usual in a modern Mercedes, the indicator side repeaters are LEDs in the door mirrors. Several wheel designs are offered as standard or Evolution items, but the Coupe's shape works best with fat wheels and the Evolution ride height. The entire underside is clad in glassfibre panels to improve airflow and stop corrosion.

Here is a fifth review to which I forgot to post a link:
Top Gear's review (general overview of 2005 C-class and review of a C230k SC with stick shift)
http://www.topgear.com/jsp/individua...Number=23.html
There are four (small) pics of a pewter Sport Coupe with non-US wheels in this one. For those interested, the second and third pics are much larger in the mag -- assuming you can still find it. If you have trouble accessing the TG online review using the above link, then you can search for it manually at:
