Well,
my car is in SERVICE B right now....
I don't know what to do !!??!!
SA told me that there are no TSB's for my C320 Coupé that he could remember. (He's a good SA too, knows what he is talking about),
but he would check with the ST to make sure if there is anything out there.
Only issues beyond regular Service B maintenance....
- Pano Roof rails will get cleaned & lubricated
- got an updated 2005 warning triangle
- new windshield wiper blades for free
So, I've got this 2005 C240 Wagon as a loaner. Nice car / roomy, I like the wagon / can't get used to the 2005 instrument cluster & center console / acceleration really sucks /
kinda bored, so I took pics. Who else would take pics of a loaner ????

this is the first time, I've had squeaking on my pano roof.
It's not really squeaking, it just sounds like it needs a good lube job.
Never had a single problem with it ! My SA said it didn't sound bad at all, but will make sure it got cleaned up and lubed. ( I guess he's heard worse !

Mine is allways squeaking, and my 3 coupe friends complain the same thing!!!
When I was to buy my car I was advised of the pano-roof problems, and yes, it allways been a problem
Even after getted a 5 time good lube at the dealer after a while is back to the same thing
How many miles do you have Carlos?
I have 25400 and since 9500 it beeing sqeeking (when there is torsion on the chassis its worst, but on bad roads it do some little noises)

but it is not a squeaking noise. I think I said it wrong. It's just a noise that it makes when it is opening and closing. You can tell it is because the rails are dirty and just need some lubing. It started about 2 weeks ago. Never had a noise problem at all with the pano-roof. Hopefully, this is not the start of an annoyance !

btw, it should be takened into consideration that engine oil can last 15k miles doesn't mean your engine can last 15k miles with that dirty oil. Dirty as in metal scraps came from engine wear.

I live in Albany, NY wherethere is only one MB dealer. Keeler. THe last time I was in, I asked about loaner cars and was told they do not give loaners. They have Enterprise rent a car located at the dealer. This sux. I would hate to pay for a car because I was paying to have work done at the dealer. what a rip. In the past, I worked at the same company as my brother and always got a ride. Since I took a new job, I'll have to rent to have a car. I wonder if the rentals are even MBs. who knows. I'll ket you know what car I get when next I have work done.

Thanks much for the information.
I will have to call my dealer and find out how they handle this. I just thought that a loaner was not an option and I'd automaticly have to pay for a rental car.
