W203 c200 Kompressor self accelerating
Hello, so my Mercedes has a problem. Sometimes when i turn it on, it shows a ESP malfunction and the engine accelerates itself to 1.5k RPM's and there is no pedal response. You can drive the car, but when rpm reach 1.5k RPM the car starts shaking, until you put in a higher gear. Sometimes when i leave it for a couple of hours and come back, i crank it back up and everything is fine. What is the problem here?

Codes? That should tell you whats up. ESP is probably not related.
You might need a new pedal. Codes will tell you.

Try doing a reset.
Turn ignition key to the on (not start) position. Press the gas pedal
to the floor and hold for five seconds, and keep pedal to the floor. Turn key to the "off"
position (don't remove the key). Then release the gas pedal. Wait at least two minutes for
ECU to reset before starting.
