Left mirror turn signal works when lowering and raising front left window

And isn't working otherwise. I don't know enough about the routing or component sequence to have any ideas about this. Help appreciated.

That's a weird one. I'd remove the interior door panel and check the wiring. Guessing there's an internal break somewhere in the door.

Has the door been serviced (collision repair, mods etc.) before?

I had to access the inner workings of the doors when I retrofitted seat memory. You can read about my experience here.

Some of the information in the thread is not relevant to your situation, but there are diagrams showing the electronic components in the doors and links to instructions for removing the door panels.

I agree with Slammer that there is likely to be a fault in the wiring. If you determine that one of the door modules is defective, they are readily available used at reasonable prices. I may have an extra one for the driver's door if you need it.
