C240 "Coolant Visit Workshop" and Fan won't stop spinning
2003 c240, 196k miles.
So my car started running hot, and overheating while idle. It would get to about 100 degrees at red lights and in slow traffic.
I changed the thermostat, and that didn't fix the problem.
I then replaced the water pump, and did a full coolant flush.
The problem got a little better, but upon driving it I got a "coolant visit workshop" message pop up and the fan will not stop spinning on high. I'm also hearing something going on from where I assume the heater core is.
Even when I turn the car off and walk away the fan is just spinning on high. Plus the car is still running a little warmer than I'd like. Dips to above 90. Any ideas as to what it could be? I didn't remove any sensors or touch any sensors when changing the thermostat or water pump.
