Wheel help

hi
Does anyone know if a 8 inch wheel with a 245/45/17 tire and an offset 38 from a 2008 C230 would also fit on a 2007 C230 any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Tony.

W204 wheels don't fit W203 (your car) without modifications is my understanding.

There is no stock 245 wheel for the W203 front. The front is 225 at most. 245/40/17 can fit the rear, if the offsets are correct. While you might get away with 45 aspect wheels, the car ABS system might act up since the front and rear wheel speeds won't match.

Thanks slammer
i’m having a difficult time locating one of the front original wheels. My daughter hit a pothole and cracked the rim. I was trying to find out if there’s any other wheels that I would be able to use. Is there any other sizes or companies that make comparable that would fit on the car?

Stock sizes are 205/55R16 and 225/45R17 for the W203 front.

Any wheel off a W202 C, W203 C, R170 SLK, and W209 CLK will fit without modifications. I think W208 CLK is also on the list.

Thanks again for responding quickly
A couple of people told me that the 16 inch would not fit because of the large brakes. It’s the sports sedan model. I don’t know if that makes a difference but that’s what I was told.

Best to match whatever is already on the other side of the car.

I'm not sure about the sport sedan, but on the sport coupe (my car) the 16" will fit. With that said, your car is facelifted, which uses different brakes than mine.

I think the "larger" brakes are only for the AMG models. You'll have to do your research.
