Anyone know how to hook up lights?

I've installed a boost gauge and spliced the power for it into an existing fuse under the drivers side panel, but for the light hook up, I'm trying to look for somewhere to hook up the boost gauge so it lights up when i turn on my headlights. As far as I know the lights are controlled electronically, does anyone know where I could hook up the wire?

That's a tough one. The C230's don't have illuminated A/C Vent dials or you can get the light power from there. THe comand/radio/ac controls are all canbus controlled. So is the instrument cluster. The only thing I can think of is the ashtray bulb behind the ashtray or the lighted ring around the cigerate lighter.

Do you want it on with the headlights, or on with the ignition?

I'd suggest using a fuse that turns on with the ignition, simple solution.
