Car vibrates when in D and engine cold, does not vibrate in N
Hey ya'll,
Pleasure to be here.
I'm currently driving a cl203 from 2002, she is just shy of 204k kms and running the 2.2L 143HP engine OM611962 with the 722.699 5speed transmission.
I started to get pretty noticeable vibrations while in D while the engine is cold. I have replaced the alternator pulley but that did not seem to fix it.
Once I go from N - > D the car drops revs, bounces 2 times and goes back to normal idle, while I instantly get hit with vibrations. The vibrations go once the engine is fully warmed up, and comes back once cold.
In N there are NO vibrations.
The car also has a distinct sound, like there is some sort of friction between two components depending on how I apply the throttle, and it goes away once I fully depress the gas.
The vibrations also go away the second I start crawling.
I've read a few threads regarding this but nothing conclusive.
Thank you all for reading this and wish ya'll safe travels.
Cheers
