Issue with SRS

Hello,

I am the owner of Mercedes W203 (CL203 Sport Coupe) C180 Compressor, 2003 year.
Since I bought the car (about 2 years ago) I have had a problem - The dashboard gives an error about SRS.
Yesterday I connected it to Mercedes diagnostics and the error it says is:
Airbag issue
PN 0018209726, HW version 09.1999, SW version 46.2001
Code B1035 - The resistance of an ignition circuit with a component R12/20 (front left side airbag pyro cartridge) is too big.

My question is - To clear the error what do I need to change:
- Sensor AirBag with PN 0018209726
OR
- Sensor A53/1 (Side airbag sensor and left side window airbag) for which I have not Part Number. I have Serial number 52721209, Date of manufacture 29.10.03

Thank in advance to everyone!

The dealer will have the PNs for the airbags. Guessing either someone installed the wrong one for your car, or someone cut/disconnected a wire (hence the resistance being too big). I'd check the wiring first with a simple continuity test.

Hello,

They already tried to change airbag in the door and alert is the same. They told me that it is most likely the sensor, but they don't know which of the two it is So I'm looking for someone who has encountered this problem
