Prefuse #6 Question

Hi Everyone!
My son and i just picked up a 2002 C230 Kompressor Coupe

It will not recognize the key. Before going down the EIS rabbit hole, i started by checking fuses. I noticed that when I voltage test the prefuse block, there is no voltage coming out of terminal #6. Is that normal for when the ignition is turned off?
Tomorrow, we will pop open the fuse block to inspect it.

how did you get the car to where it is if the key was not recognized or is this an additional issue not noticed in a test drive----------------------what is the battery voltage

We bought the car as a non-running project for $500. The seller reported that one morning the car would not start because the key would not turn. It was towed to our house. I figured it's probably an EIS issue, but this finding has me thinking otherwise.

We swapped in a good working battery that has 12.6v.

I can put the negative terminal probe from my DMM on the negative battery terminal and touch the positive probe to each of the terminals on the prefuse. They all show 12.6v except for that one on the far right. This leads me to believe that the fuse has been blown. It appears that I will need to take the fuse block case apart to inspect that fuse.

I'll report back with my findings.

you may want to find MB Doc PE54.15U2502FA for help as example F1 is interior fuse box F2 rear sam F4 and F6 is front sam and F5 protects various engine systems------all energized with key movement
I think its time you found someone with MB DAS diagnostics and run a short test because without access to wiring diagrams you will have a project car

Hi Again!
Well, we replaced that prefuse and it brought the ignition system back to life. I cleared out a bunch of old stored code. The car was able to start. It idled for a little bit, but it stalled once we tried to put it in gear. I ended up getting codes P2020 and P2022 for the intake manifold runner position switch. Do you know where this is located? I've watched a ton of youtube and read forums, and I'm seeing the throttlebody and the supercharger bypass valve. Are either of those the intake runner valve?
