You would think my dealer knws what car I bought from them. You would think Ithey know I havea staggered setup that can't be rotated. So why have I got my 3rd flyer with my VIN # on it...for a free rotation and they have left a message 3 times. lol

It sure prolongs their life. More so on a FWD car, though.

My staggered width tires are not unidirectional, so I'll try a R/L swap.

Now, this does not make sense. Tires usually wear evenly on the same axle, and unevenly between the axles. If you see uneven wear between L and R tires on the same axle - check alignment and/or pressure.

Its probably just a "form letter" which they send out to all the customers. I get things like that from my local car dealer all the time. Just place it in the trash and smile. hehe

Obviously your dealer refuses to invest in a CRM and Targeted Marketing system.

All those waisted mailings.

the left side can wear out more that the right since in america we make a whole lot more right turns then we do left turns. just think about how many right turns you make, and keep in mind all the highway onramps and off ramps.

my friend told me, his mercedes-benz dealer had told him they don't rotate the tires on the C-class sports sedan models because the front/rear tire sizes are different. according to the dealer, the rotation space on the maintenance booklet is meant for use on other mercedes models, not the C-class sports sedans (WZ).
