I own a 2008 C300 and the car has worked great I haven't had any issues whatsoever with the vehicle till last night I wanted to go to the store but I couldn't get the car to start. I put the key in the key in the ignition and turned it and got no crank nor did it start. I got a message on the dashboard saying to Take Key From Ignition and car has a good battery and all lights and radio turn on , locks and unlocks my doors with the key fob so what can possibility be wrong?? Please advise if you can help me with this issue . thank you.

Here’s a few things you can try.

Put the key in it tells me to remove the key from ignition and nothing happen …
