Oil Filter Housing Advice
I could use some advice.
My 2004 C230 1.8L Kompressor has got 265,000km.
I have replaced timing chain, timing chain tensioner and I still get what sounds like a weak timing chain rattle on cold start up, nothing what it was like before.
My oil filter housing is leaking due to what looks like bad gasket, am I better off replacing the entire oil filter housing? Is the rattle present due to bad valve inside the oil filter housing gone bad or existing orings I am not aware off?
Or does the rattle have nothing to do with oil filter housing?
