I'm having trouble confirming how rare my car is. From what I can tell, Mercedes never officially offered the W203 (S203) wagon with a manual transmission in the US. A couple of years ago a former Mercedes employee commented on a Cars & Bids auction and said that only 6 were sold in the US and that they were originally owned by MBUSA. The 6 were apparently split between C240 and C320 variants and one of them was used in the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Other than that movie, I've only ever seen photos of one other manual wagon in the US and it was dark blue. Does anyone know how I can go about confirming how rare my car actually is? I've reached out to Mercedes Classic and they were able to confirm that the transmission was original to the car but not how many were sold in the US. They reached out to someone at MBUSA but haven't heard back from them. The VIN is WDBRH61J83F336490.

Nice find. Makes sense the 6SP M were potentially Corp cars. My 1 owner 02 Audi allroad 6SP M w/ rear facing 3rd row seat is a former Corp car.
It has the dual clutch like MBZ uses so it’s a dream to deal with in traffic or in the city. Wagons with manual trans are stealthy and can lead tailgaters into trouble. Especially with AWD.
A quick 30-40mph turn at an intersection while downshifting into 2nd without braking will leave any tailgater spun out.
