2002 Mercedes C240
C240 wrecked
I haven't posted here in quite some time, but, alas, I'm back.
My 2002 C240 was involved in an accident last week and I suspect the offenders insurance company will consider it totalled, due to it's age.
I am trying to be proactive in determining if I should keep the "salvage" as I've put a decent amount in this car over the last few years so I would welcome any feedback.
The car was hit on the right front. And I can follow up with pics.
Airbags did not deploy, for whatever reason? So they are all intact.
I replaced a ton of the suspension, in 2022. Over $3000 as I recall.
The shifter was replaced in 2022, as well. At a cost of 1200, I believe.
The interior, black leather, is pretty much flawless. Certainly, for a car of this age.
The rims are stock, I believe. The tires have less than 10k miles on them.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
