i hit my rear carlsson rim on a road gutter this noon, the rim isnt bent,only a very minor scrape. BUT the CLEARCOAT IS CRACKED for about 3inches,the coating seems to be thick, how can i get the lips refinished??????????? can i just have it clearcoated at a local car paint shop using 2k polyurethane clearcoat???? or is there some special clearcoat for alloy wheels????

there are places that specialize in repairing damaged rims. one time I had an accident in my old bmw. the bodyshop repaired all of the rims without my instruction. I was so happy. they came out perfect.
