Would this mirror fit and mount up to either of these two cars? This mirror has the homelink, reading lamps, and ambient lighting (which is why I want to make it work). Here is a picture of the connector.

do you know if the mounting points are the same steve? Would I have to dissassemble the connector on my current mirror and figure out what wire is what and reconnect it? Also would my current W203 or W163 wiring have a power lead for the ambient lighting?

The power for the ambient lighting is tapped off from the garage door opener so it is always on. I am not sure if it will physically fit though. If I remember correctly, the S has a stem style mounting. If you can make it look right, it may fit correctly by replacing the mounting plate. The C class has multiple connectors for each function. I am sure you can make all the features work fine after you split that connector up and buy new seperate connectors. Your 203 already had reading lamps so if you plan to tap off those lamps, it may not work as the load may be too much.
