Ordering sometime soon....

Just wanted to say Hi. After Christmas my Audi is for sale on ebay and looking into leasing a c230. Looking forward to swap ipod, v1's and finally a change! The deal is great now. $299 a month is a steal IMO.

Looking for a white or black 6 speed.

Whats there not to like about the c230?

there is nothing not to like about the W203's. they are great cars. there are minor things i dont care for, but they are personal preferances, nothing to do with the car.

personally i dont like my gauge cluster, but they fixed that with the 2005's.

all in all, they are great cars, well rounded, so many things to upgrade and mod. you can pretty much customize the car to your needs.

i'm getting there~

welcome BTW.

i have a 2003, and i havent had any major issues.

i have had some minor warranty issues, but alot of my service visits have been asking for settings to be set in my cars computer. my dealer has asked me to stop bringing my car in for changes such as:

Parktronic=present
Interior Motion Sensor=present
Folding mirrors convieneice menu, a feature which i was told could be done, later confirmed it cant be
and so on.

plus any little thing i may have not replaced properly or broke during my own installs, door sill trim, center console vents, etc. i had replaced under warranty. other than that very few actual factory defaults in my car.

he might be getting the coupe. at my local MB dealer the Sedan was 29k for base, and the coupe was 26k for base. i can see that 3k droping monthly payments from $329 to $299.. also i believe different areas have different prices for there cars.

Im with Citron, there is some nagging stuff that goes wrong, but not to the point that it aggrivates me and affects drivability. Its really minor for what you get in return IE.. German engineering, Classy looks, Safety features. If actually want a car without ever going to the dealer to fix something look into a camry or accord. I would say maybe a lexus but my dads friend actually bought a 2004 LS430 and he had to have transmission replaced twice within 5000 miles! I even found they are having a recall on them. He also had vibration on idle, rattling sunroof and more. Not to mention this is their flagship! I just recently took our 04 GS to the dealer because the heated seats is not working. This is the car company with #1 reliability. Im not going to continue to rag on lexus but im just making a point that whatever you choose you are going to have some issues. But If im going to have some of these issues Id rather go german and enjoy DRIVING. Just get the car you feel is best for you. There is no perfect automobile and never will be. I will always go german as long as I am not footing the bill for a repair(being under warranty) and as long as I am not left at the side of road.
