Hey dave how are ya? hows the sedan treating you? I actually had the smelly ac, when i went in they resetted the comp to a diff setting where the 'pipes' dont freeze, so for me the smell is gone, hopefully they will fix all your probs

2008 C300 Sport Sedan Manual, Uridium Silver, 18" AMG's
Should Have gone to Downtown LA!

Okay, listen to this. Yesterday, my power steering box died and lost all the fluid! I was turning into a parking space when it felt like I ran over dried cemet or sand on the pavement.

MB flatbedded me (no charge/warranty) to Auto Stiegler MB in Encino CA.

Stiegler paid to set me up with a rental car (from Enterprise on site) who sent me off in a Mazda 6 with a transmission prob! So then they "upgraded" me to a Chrysler Pacific. Chrysler may be part of the MB family now but I'm sorry, this thing was a major sled.

The Power Steering box was replaced under warranty, I only have 8k miles on my car and all is fine now mechanically but there was a nice bonus for me....

They scratched through the paint in two places over the wheel well of my left rear quarter panel.

Now I have to take it to their dealer owned body shop to be color blended and completely clear coated on the quarter panel. They will need the car for 3 - 4 days and I'll be stuck in another crappy loaner car.

I now have to live with spotted in paint which may never look the same!

I am bummed and depressed!

well.....dealer have tendency to do "unwanted" stuff to your car. once i was at HOI waiting for my car from B service, this guy received the car from his service, and he was literally examining his car, bumper to bumper. i understand him now that i have black color car.... well this time, i asked them to not to wash, so "possible" scratches are not there.

all those rattles, especially the center console, center ventilation, and trunk button is still making the noise... all the others ones are minor, which i don't think highly of...

I have sorta blackmailed my SA by giving her Christmas jazz CD..she seemed excited to receive such thing from a client...and i guess i can ask her on extra mile.

Calstar was somewhat satisfying. Still needs improvement....
