Thanks Steve, Wanda and Dean
Hi all,
I'm new to this board in postings, but I've been reading a lot great info on these threads. You guys really know your stuff.
Big thanks to Steve, Wanda and Dean at MBenzNL for installing a Command and AUX port in my 2002 C320 sedan. After a few emails with Wanda early this week I decided to take the plunge and schedule an install on my C320. Thinking that I would have to wait till spring before I get my Command installed by Steve, Wanda promptly sent me an email reply stating that Steve and Dean will drive up overnight and install it the next day. This was absolutely incredible. I'm always a pessimistic when it comes to things like this, maybe because of my bad experiences in the past where the expectations are higher, but the actuals delivered are low. These folks really do an incredible job. I can't wait for my next gizmo by MBenzNL. Thanks.

Thanks again Steve. It helped me find an electroinc parts store yesterday. It was great. I got so use to using Nav in my S430 that not having it in the C was killing me. The only thing the Nav probably won't do is make sure my wife doesn't back the car into the garage door again. I still need to find a place to fix that gouge in the trunk lid. Maybe someone in the forum can recommend a good body shop in the San Jose area. I'll eventually need one for an AMG body kit I'm looking for. Cheers.

Yeah Steve is the man
I really enjoy my Eurospec Comand he put in for me this November. Just curious, has anyone been able to retrofit a 2005 C class comand into older W203's? I just saw a posting of someone's 2005 C-Comand and have to admit, it puts the older ones to shame (like the split screen function, the ability to pull up points of interest by name rather than scrolling through the very long list to get to the one you want). Just curious if b/c of different wiring, etc if it would ever be possible.
Also, if I had gotten originally Comand through the factory for my 2004 C320 (bought in 8/04), would it have actually been the same Comand I have now (except US version) or would I have gotten the newer Comand look? (not sure when they changed to the new system).
And I posted this on another thread, but try it here, are there any differences people know about the different versions of navigation CD's out there (Bosch, etc)? Specifically does any version let you put in the name of a POI without scrolling through? Does any version have street names listed rather than a blank grid?
Thanks.

Nothing MB related (sorry)
Hey Desi! It's like Steve said: timing couldn't be better. You must have a 6th sense or something. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Enjoy your new toy!
And Jug... W203 DVD comands can only be installed in earlier W203s when the customer doesn't mind spending lots of money on replacing the entire D2B wiring for MOST as well...
greetingz,
BigSis
