Where is coolant temperature sensor?
Hello, my 2.2CDI OM646 FL has bad coolant temperature sensor, and I cant find it anywhere, does anyone know where is it?

I already discovered that the sensor is in the thermostat and I know that the thermostat itself is bad, I'll see if that helps. Thanks for help

Did you replace the thermostat? Was it easy enough to do?
On cold days, my water temperature only increases when I'm idling, when I start driving again, it drops, and the heating in the car is not effective when this happens. No issues in the summer. Is the thermostat likely to be my issue?

On most engine DIY. Test: Cold engine, drive one mile, stop, feel the hose to the radiator, if it is even only a bit warm your thermostat is leaking and needs to be replaced.
