Suspension Suggestions
Hello,
I have a 2006 Mercedes Benz C230 with stock suspension and im rolling on 225/45/ZR17 tires. I was hoping to get a couple of recommendations for a nice set of coilovers. I'd like to lower the car to get rid of the clearance but not completely drop the suspension.
I'd also appreciate if you guys could include price as well as where to purchase if possible 🙏 I know damn near nothing about suspension or wheel specs so any information would be greatly appreciated
I am also considering swapping to some 18' rims but that would be later down the line..

A friend recommended H&Rs from ECSTuning seeing as they're made in Germany. I heard they're better than BC's but im not too sure.

Looking at these right now, couple $100 and someone local has them for sale for $200

One of the reviews shows a picture of the CO grinding the wheel and tire.
I would stick something quality, You don;t want something to break at speed with junk and kill you and others.
I remember people used to talk about Bilstein a lot.

i second this, there isnt much in the way of midrange parts for this car so if your budget is in like the 300 dollar range consider getting lowering springs instead of coils. I have them on my car with the oe shocks and its about an inch and a half lower and a firmer ride. I like it a lot and it wont blow up and destroy my car

I have them on my car with the oe shocks and its about an inch and a half lower and a firmer ride. I like it a lot and it wont blow up and destroy my car
