w203 SRS issue
For unknown reasons the cables decided to cut themselves in the indicator multistalk so i disconected the battery and took of the steering wheel and fixed it and suprice suprice the SRS light came on. What i have done is to controll the clock spring with a person who is very good at vehicle electronics, i also compared it to a validated clock spring that i ordered on ebay but from all accounts the cables, clock spring and so on is in good condition and the big issue is that the codes are stored in the car, during this i also disconected the seat connectors and lubed them up.
The current fault codes that cannot be deleted is the following:
9025
9030
ADFF
9123
9103
9122
9102
Some of these are contradicting and therefore proof of the clock spring working just fine, i also refuse to belive that component b48 is faulty since the car tells me someone is sitting in the passenger seat without seatbelt. So i brought it to an authorized benz dealer and they want to replace the control unit N2/7 which is located under the console and blame it for being faulty. I dont see why it would break since airbags is not exploded and the actual reason is that it is disconnected once with battery off. The dealer wants a lot of money for this and is unsure it will even work which to me sound like bs.
Ive read that if i can find a controll unit that has the same A-number and that it has to be from same months as the old one, i can just replace it myself, ive also read that it can be reset but i am unsure if that is possible. I have made some efforts to get the dealer program Xentry to perform fault searches and restore myself but before i do i want to ask this forum if you had similar issues and how you handled it.
Regards, Alexander.

Shoulda disconnected battery. I say this from experience.
I swapped steering wheel and my iCarsoft unti will not clear the SRS.
