The " own more than one CL203 club"

One guy has 2 Citron ones and another as well.
And davedrb I think also.
Anyway, snapped a couple photos today.
Thought I'd post them.
Anyone own more than one?
Seeing double! Which one is the 36K mile one and which one is the 262K mile one?
So shiny! Barely been driven since I brought it home 2 months ago. Went for a long drive today. So smooth, and quiet.
Dealer polished to perfection. Had paintless dent removal done, all sratches touched up, wheels straightened and painted.
Like new in and out.
New Conti Extreme contact All weather tires. So nice.

With new car prices what they are, this the next best thing, but IMHO much better as new Mercedes are just Scheiße!
The motoring press loved the newer POS M271 engine as being smoother and quieter, but it lost one row of much needed chain
on the cams and also lost power. This is the only year with M111. The closest thing to it, was one on bringatrailer.com
that went for nearly $15K and was in NJ. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...sport-coupe-6/
I had been thinking for years, what I would replace my 262K mile coupey with? Most newer cars in my range are just so
uninspiring and even after 23 years I still loved the looks of the coupey AND it's almost as useful as an SUV with the seat folder down.
I had been casually looking for a prisitine 2002 C230 Coupe for a long time, wanted it to be a Cali car ie no salt, no rust,
and I finally found it. And it was as close enough to drive it home. And near the only airport
our little local airport flies into which is Oakland. $200 for the plane ticket and $50 for the Uber and I was there in time for lunch.
Stopped in Napa valley on the way back and then straight through to Healdburg and 101 to Oregon.
Owner sometimes only drove it for 300 miles a year, but still had all the services performed by the dealer or local
Mercedes Indy's.The brakes and tires are new, the fluid flushed, they even replaced the motor mounts.
Probably didn't need it. It appears that whatever the mechanics and dealer told him it needed he had done, and it's all documented
in Carfax back to 2005.
It appears to have never been stored outside, and while I was doing a little work on it, it was so clean under the car.
No oil or grease or dirt anywhere.
All the factory part number stickers are still on the bit and pieces that make up the car.
BTW- The dealer did all that work I mentioned and detailed to like new condition. Not a scratch on it anywhere.
Not a spec of rust. No stains anywhere in the interior, no scuffs, tears or evidence of usage anywhere at all.
The only thing it needs it the sliding cover that covers the cupholder. I bought a copy off ebay but it was crap, and
the plastic is way too stiff and it's like $50 from Mercedes with shipping. I'll get to it eventually. The only thing I've done is swap my 2005 tails to the new car and I've purchased some clear yet frosty side markers vs. yellow. I'm keeping the frosty headlights>
They look so cool especially in such perfect condition. I did also replace the headlights, parking lights and fogs with LED's and they are bright as F*** ! Who needs Xenon with the LED's they sell today?
It is a car that is truely transported from another time into the future.
