Valentine One Hardwire

Where have you guys hardwired your Valentine One to? I searched and saw that most people used the cig lighter or went to the trunk. Is there anything easier you can do? I really do not want to take apart the dash or anything. On my e46 I had it wired right where the lights are in front of the sunroof. Can someone post some pics of what they have. Also has anyone done any cool installs in the dash or the rearview mirror? And is there anyone in South Florida that can help me install this thing? Thanks.

Ground the negative wire to the driver's side fuse box, and send the positive all the way to the trunk, under the plastic trim in the kick plates. Unless things have changed since 2002, there are only one or two switchable terminals in the whole car, and those are in the rear fusebox. # 7 is one.

Not what you want to hear, I'm sure, but this is the only option that doesn't involve cutting into wires elsewhere. Given the electrical complexity of these cars, I wouldn't chance that, although I know others have.

actually steve (mbenznl) did the install as a favor for me for letting him stay at my apt during his nyc visit/installs. i have not had any problems what so ever with it in my clk, nor has fazooley had a problem with his in his o4 e500 that steve did as well. with that being said, i think its safe to say, steve knows what wires to cut/tap
