Finally picked up my '05 C230K SS today, after a 2-month wait. One thing I noticed while struggling with all the features (this thing came with a dozen manuals) is that the side mirrors don't "drop down" when I go in reverse. I thought that was supposed to be a standard feature on the '05 SS?

Yes, I do. I just realized that this feature works properly, but only for the right-side mirror. Does this sound right, or should it work for both mirrors?

Yup, that's right, it's only the passenger side so you don't get curb rash! And it only works if the passenger side mirror switch is selected, that's how you turn it on and off.

I can't RTFM right now, as the car came with a manual from an E-class... good point though, guess it's time to run to the dealer.

Sure you can. :p Many members with MY05s have posted that MBs Owner's Online section on MBUSA has FMs available for those with a VIN.

yep, I was expecting RTFM or STFF.

also you have to enable it in the display for it to work, it should all be in your manual.
