Shift Knob Size
I have a 2004 (facelift) C220 CDI 6speed, and I was planning on changing the shift knob, since this one is worn out.
I have seen Aftermarket replacement talking about 14.5mm/8mm (which I suppose is the shaft size), but I can't tell which one I should get.
I have tried looking everywhere and can't understand what corresponds to what. One is for manual and the other for automatic? Does it have to do with facelift/pre-facelift?
If anyone as any clue I would be really thankful.
Thanks

There is a link in the thread to the seller's website. You can search for items that fit the W203. I did not see too much information on measurements although one of the items for the W203 says it is for 14mm.
Since you have a diesel, I'm assuming you are outside the U.S. Since the seller is in Germany, I expect that prices for U.S. residents will be higher due to tariffs.

I saw that thread, but I actually preferred the ones I was looking for on ebay (despite the fact that I think that those are lower in quality).
The manufacturers of those knobs on that thread differentiate between pre-facelift and facelift... but the attachment is not similar to OEM/Ebay aftermarket, so I still can't understand which dimension is for facelift
