Power steering pump drama. Quieter replacement advice 2006 C200 Kompressor

Seeking real-world advice on quiet power steering pump replacements for my 2006 C200 Kompressor (CL203 Sport Edition, M271 engine, OEM part A0034664101).
Background:
- Original ZF pump lasted ~270k km (became whiny from age/wear).
- Replaced with new NTY SPWME008 (with reservoir) via workshop.
- Immediate constant RPM-dependent whine from day one (idle to high revs, unchanged by steering load or temperature).
- Thorough checks: multiple bleeds (wheels off ground, lock-to-lock), loose return clamp fixed with jubilee, long drives/tests → system fully healthy (clear fluid, no air/bubbles/leaks, stable level).
- Brief low-fluid run (~2.5 km during initial flush) noted, but whine matches common NTY experiences.
- Tried a used ZF (~170k km) → rejected due to shaft play and rattle.
- NTY back in temporarily (warranty claim ongoing).
The noise is typical budget aftermarket (tolerances/turbulence) – system itself is perfect.
Questions:
1. Which pumps have given you true OEM-level quietness on W203/M271?
• LuK new?
• Lizarte reman (on OE core)?
• Bosch?
• Genuine ZF reman?
• Others (Meyle, Febi, etc.)?
2. Any brands to definitely avoid besides NTY/Ridex/Mapco?
3. How do your replacements compare noise-wise to the original ZF?
Prefer options available in EU (Autodoc, Allegro, etc.).
Thanks in advance – really want that proper silence back!
Cheers

The part number in the description matches what you have, but double-check.
I felt more comfortable buying this after reading about Lares - they are totally focused on power steering, steering gears. Not your average after-market part.

Good luck.
