I Love This Car!

Hey All,

Last night, my wife and I picked up my parents and headed to a Christmas party. That was the first time we had four people in the C240. I was impressed with the off-the-line power and the 30-60mph passing abilities of the little six. The ride was smooth, not one creak or rattle. My dad was really impressed with fit and finish (as am I). We averaged 80mph over an 80 mile round trip drive, with the car returning 27.2 MPG!! How's that for cake and eating it, too?

Just though I'd share Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year to all.

Today, my cousin drove the car for the first time, and I think he may be swept away by the C Class as well. He couldn't stop saying nice things about the car. But hey, I'm sure you guys have heard all this before

Nice to hear some GOOD things about the C240. When the car is already in motion, the 2.6L V6 has pretty good pep, especially at highway speeds. It's a great touring car and very stable at high speeds. It's just a little sluggish from a standing start.

Only in America is a V6 a "little" engine, LOL. Before moving to the US, our largest engine was a 1.6L 4 cylinder Opel. And where I come from, doing 100 mph is nothing out of the ordinary, and nobody even mentions it. I used to easily do a constant 160 km/h (100 mph) with four people in the car on long trips. And then get overtaken by the large cars, like the MB's and BMW's .

Glad you are happy with your car. We have found our C320 Coupe to be an excellent highway cruiser, and our son falls asleep in it very easily, which is great!
