2002 C230 Coupe
So sad... the modding continues...
Remember that I bought a 2002 C230 Kompressor Coupe for my fiancee? Well, I drove 1,500 miles to Fort Worth, Texas (from Los Angeles) to trade in my Mustang and pick it up. I then drive the car back to Los Angeles (1,500 miles.) That was about December 15th. Since then, I've driven to Oakland, California (about 700 miles round-trip) to pick-up a set of C7 wheels, to Las Vegas (about 700 miles round trip) for Christmas and have used it daily. I'm shocked that I've racked-up over 4000 miles since December 15th! I guess I must like this car! :p
I also can't believe I'm modding the car so quickly! (Remember, this is a car for my fiancee!) I've already changed the headlight bulbs to Sylvania Silverstars. The C7 wheels and new BF Goodrich G-Force Sports will be installed tomorrow. (The Michelin Pilot Sports were down to the wear bars and we've got rain predicted for all week here.) The ASP pulley and Gates 56" belt arrived today. And while I was in Vegas, the K&N filter showed-up. And I've got a tentative COMAND system install with Steve in January. YIKES!
I'm beginning to wonder if maybe I shouldn't keep this car for myself! :p
