Climate control

My C240 came with the manual climate controls (knobs). What do you guys think about purchasing the digital climate control (from C320) and replacing my stock. Is it possible?

Thanks,
Sharku

I guess everything is possible, but I think this would cost an awful lot of money. Guess it will be cheaper to trade yor car in for another car (with the digital system) than retrofit it on your current one. Whats wrong with the manual system by the way??

I don't think there is anything wrong, but I think it just looks simpler then it probably is. Just an idea

mbtech posted a response to this same question a while back. He said it would be very, very, very expensive to do the change. It's not as simple as just changing the unit in the console. Alot of behind the scenes things need to be done as well. In the end he said it's not worth it.
