Anyone with an Audio 10 and CD Changer?

I put the Audio 10 in but I can't figure out how to play the CD Changer vs. the internal CD. There is one CD button and it seems to want to play the internal CD. The internal CD is jammed so I have to send it in for service, probably caused by the shipping. Also how do you set a station into the preset?

In the meantime the Audio 10 does have much better, more powerful bass and the highs are clearer. Definitely a better radio. The AM stations I might listen to work the same as the old radio. It tunes in 1 number higher (for example Radio Disney is 710 but it shows 711). All the connectors are there on the back so it's remove the old radio plug in the new.

I'll ask Becker for a manual when I send them the radio.

What CDC button? There's a CD button, when I pressed that it said No CD, so I put one in put it jammed on the way in. Now it says CD ERR and it won't eject. I tried taking it apart and prodding the CD out but no luck. I know the CD Changer is available with the Audio 10 because in Italy they have a package that includes the Audio 10, Bose and the 6 CD changer. If it won't work with the changer I'll either have a an Audio 10 or 6 CD changer for sale. Tough call because the Audio 10 sounds so much better.

Buellwinkle --

sorry to hear about your trouble with the unit. Here are some tips:

Press the CD button twice quickly - it'll switch to the CD changer, irrespective of whether a CD is loaded in the Audio 10 unit or not.

To set a station, press and hold the number you want it to be memorized as for a few seconds.

When you switch to FM by pressing the "FM" button, you get stations 1-4. If you press the same button again, you'll get stations 5-8. If you want to preset stations in this mode, button 1 would designate station 5, 2->6 .. 4->8.

If you switch to the AUDIO mode on the steering wheel, you'll be able to walk through all 8 stations, up or down, using the steering wheel controls without having to touch the FM button.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Vadim. I'll ship the radio to becker so they can fix it. I'll also get the manual in english for that radio. Becker in Australia assured me the Audio 10 CD works with the MB or Becker CD changer so I'll try the CD button twice when I get it back. I asked them about "aux in" gizmo and they never heard of it. I'll ask Becker U.S. if they know about it. It's not important to me but some people mentioned it on the forum.
